pizza place or zoo?

ok so tonight i had my first night back at pizza 51...its great pizza i just wish i didnt have to be a server (ever) but im poor so here i am working...anyhoo not only was it a zoo just with how busy it was tonight we also had some wildlife decide that they wanted in on the action too. first there was this dog that was bald...kidd you not this doggie was fine and shaggy except for his poor head...dunno what the problem was but because it was a shepard mix of somekind i think it made his ears stick WAY out...itwas quite entertaining. ok so there was a bald dog, then we had an encounter with this:












look closely...and you will see a blue tailed skink...yeah i said it...skink. one of THOSE decided to come inside and thankfully a customer saw before it had time to hide...we set it free outside but not without a good game of try to catch the wild animal...it was good times me and a mountain dew cup and a skink...mmmm yeah...oh and then a bird decided to fly right inside and perch on the light for a while...thankfully it too decided that it stood a better chance outside...but yeah tonight was quite literally a zoo-tastic experience that i hope to never deal with for at least quite a while...granted i dont think it helped that i had my first full day of classes at school...oh yeah baby feel the burn of having two dance classes back to back...mmmmm yeah...three yes 3 (the-reeeeee) hours of pure non-stop or at least no stop long enough to truly catch your breath or let your muscles relax...three hours of stress, strain, and pure elation...god i love dancing...i just feel whole when im in the midst of it...i wish everyone could find something that made them feel that "right" with the world. god is great and god is good. here's to a crazy day that was at least super adventurous and rarely dull. :) lord may i sleep well tonight and may i be able to get out of bed tomorrow morning...preferrably with little to no pain. :) amen!

lightweight shoe or shrinky dink?

ok so yes its been a while and blah blah blah...ok well i am now here to inform you all of the amazing and incredible shrinky dink shoes! yes thats right folks they can shrink before your very eyes! (if you watch long enough)

ok so now that i have you curious...hopefully...ive got you wondering what kind of shoes...well ill bet that many of you already have them. they're crocs. yes taht is right americas much loved shoe, lightweight and durable (well they may want to rethink thatone) it seems they hold up to a lot...just not sun and extreme heat...cause i left mine in the car (granted my car is purple and it was triple digit heat but..) and when i went to put them on again they had both shrank at least a size and the right one was so small i couldnt even squeeze my foot into it! sooo be warned all you! crocs can and will shrink if left in exreme heat and sunlight...and the manufacturers know it...cause you see i called the croc info hotline and spoke to a very pleasant woman who told me quite simply that they just dont do well in that kind of enviornment...i wonder how many times a day she gets to tell that to people...ah well

lesson learned: dont leave shoes in the car...just one more reason to clean out my car more regularly.

its the end of the world as we know it

yup that is right boys and girls...i am officially NOT an intern anymore! *happy, sad, happy, sad* its been an awesome summer...just rocked my socks right off but i am going to miss it and the people ive grown to love sooooo very very much but what better way to start a new chapter than by toasting the upcomming school year and ending of a fantabulous summer by having a 'sand-in-my-shorts' from red robin...seriously a great drink, looks good, tastes good and by god it is REALLY fun to say. (its one of those that when you tell people what it is they get a really funny look on thier face like yeah right...what's it really called?)

ok so i had a toast to the summer, im desperately trying not to think of loosing my friends and amazing roommates but instead am trying to look towards school and dancing and fall...mmm i love the fall! ok well ill try to start pulling together some summer fun posts but it may take a while so bear with me! love you all!
