lightweight shoe or shrinky dink?

ok so yes its been a while and blah blah blah...ok well i am now here to inform you all of the amazing and incredible shrinky dink shoes! yes thats right folks they can shrink before your very eyes! (if you watch long enough)

ok so now that i have you curious...hopefully...ive got you wondering what kind of shoes...well ill bet that many of you already have them. they're crocs. yes taht is right americas much loved shoe, lightweight and durable (well they may want to rethink thatone) it seems they hold up to a lot...just not sun and extreme heat...cause i left mine in the car (granted my car is purple and it was triple digit heat but..) and when i went to put them on again they had both shrank at least a size and the right one was so small i couldnt even squeeze my foot into it! sooo be warned all you! crocs can and will shrink if left in exreme heat and sunlight...and the manufacturers know it...cause you see i called the croc info hotline and spoke to a very pleasant woman who told me quite simply that they just dont do well in that kind of enviornment...i wonder how many times a day she gets to tell that to people...ah well

lesson learned: dont leave shoes in the car...just one more reason to clean out my car more regularly.
:)

and god bless the people at dicks sporting goods cause they let me exchange my shrunken pair for new ones! yay!

i havent heard of anything that would stretch them back out...as far as i could tell its just like a shrinky dink...once shrunk it cant go back...if you can remember where you got them and especially if you have the receipt you should be able to exchange them...otherwise maybe write a letter to the company?

(i know what you mean about the whole thinking your crazy thing...it messed with me too!)

good luck! :)

My daughter's crocs were in the garage and they shrunk. She thought she was crazy. Her daughter's Adidas flip flops shrunk too. They were on the porch. She moved from Indiana where she had no trouble to North Carolina where they shrunk. It was apparently the heat. Very strange. I own them too (Cleo) and mine have never shrunk.

my shoes are croc style but by a different company thru my work. i wore them to work on sunday, left em in the car overnight, then when i went to change into them the next day at work, the right one had shrunk about 2 shoe sizes. it mustve been the one actually in the sunlight. i had another pair in my locker, but still... it bummed me out.
