being part of a one legged man

tonight i laughed harder than i think i have in months. i went to a very be-lated cinco de mayo party and had a ball playing mexican bingo and a couple other crazy games. i had a bit of a drag race on the way to cold stone (nothing major) but i won thanks to the fact that i know some street lights well and was able to anticipate which lane would get the green first...wonderful victory!

i had ice cream sitting outside with friends...always a natural high...ended up at starbucks to warm up and there the group i was with ended up reading the kiddie books that were out...and mainly they had all the great staples. for example they had corduroy bear, where the wild things are, one fish two fish red fish blue fish, the cat in the hat, green eggs and ham and one of my very favorites alexander and the terrible, horrible, no good very bad day...it was fabulous! we sat there seeing how fast we could read dr. seuss and even though we were probably louder than we should have been all we got were smirks from those around us. so at least people thought we were amusing. its been a fantabulous day!
